Screenings & events
AFR specialises in film programming and screenings as part of the annual programme. We also curate and produce exhibitions, events and showcases. We are experienced in producing events for cinemas, museums & galleries, and outdoor spaces.
Digital Programming
As part of our annual programme, AFR develops and produces online film clubs alongside panels and discussions for partners and collaborators. We are experienced in online programming, research and development, moderating, and live streaming.
Education & Knowledge Exchange
As part of our ethos, we value knowledge exchange and intergenerational learning. AFR facilitates workshops, lectures, mentoring, and skills exchange between industry leads and international audiences.
Creative Consulting
AFR provides practical and conceptual solutions for organisations, companies and brands looking to diversify their thinking around audience development, strategy, and community outreach, We assist in research, development and concepts for film projects, campaigns, IRL and offline events.

AFR x Soho House Berlin for LGBT History Month
To celebrate US Black History Month and LGBT History Month, AFR curated a special programme of shorts in partnership with Soho House Berlin; featuring a roundtable with the film’s directors and Soho House members.
BIPOC Film Society: Poetry & Filmmaking
For the inaugural BIPOC Film Society event at Berlin’s Oyoun, AFR’s Candice spoke with the collective alongside video journalist Poliana Baumgarten and producer/creator Sailesh Naidu in a short film about the practice of cinepoetry for creators and writers of colour.
